Peripheral nerves define as the nerve which connect your brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) to the periphery of the body (peripheral nervous system). There are so many functions of peripheral nerves to maintain the integrity of the human body. Nerves tumor are generally benign but they have a tendency to damage the nerve fiber and disturb the function of that nerve.

Causes

The exact cause of benign peripheral nerve tumor is not known yet but it may be assumed that certain hereditary factor may play their role. Some time they arise from the metastasize tumor.
