It is a rare type of cancer that developed in the breast tissue of men. Breast cancer usually occur in women in more frequency in men the frequency of breast cancer is lowest. Mostly it is occurred in old age men.
Symptoms

- Discharge from the nipples
- Change in color of affected area
- Thicken of the skin of breast area
- Painless mass at breast
- Nipple inversion
Causes
The exact cause of male breast cancer not known yet but it may be assumed that cancerous cells their primary site may seeding in the breast tissue and developed the breast cancer.
Diagnosis
Diagnostic test includes:
- Imaging test like X-ray and mammography to check the condition of breast tissue.
- Blood test to check the hormonal changes
- Biopsy of breast tissue to confirm the cancer to check the type of cancer.
Treatment
Treatment option depend upon the stage of cancer and your overall health condition. Treatment options include:
- Radiation therapy. To remove the cancerous cells with the help of the radiation.
- Surgery to remove the breast tissue along with affected lymph nodes.
- Chemotherapy to reduce the size cancerous mass.
- Hormonal therapy to reduce the size and growth of cancer mass.
