It is defined as the viral infection of skin due to which round firm painless bumps formed on skin size ranging from small to pinhead of pencil eraser. Infection spread from person to person or contaminated objects.

Causes

The main cause of molluscum contagiosum is viral infection following things cause the spread of infection:
