Both benign and malignant tumor occur in the child’s brain.

Symptoms
Signs and symptoms depend upon the location of tumor, some include:
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Vision loss
- Balance problem
- Slurred speech
Causes
Exact cause of cancer is not known yet. But cancer start when cells start to show effects of mutation. Mutation cause the uncontrol cells growth.
Diagnosis
After taking medical history your doctor might recommend the following test to confirm the diagnosis:
- Imagin test like x-rays and MRI to check the extent of tumor growth by detailed images of the brain.
- Neurological exam to check the normal function of nervous system.
- Biopsy will help you to diagnosis the type of tumor and help to staging the cancer.
Treatment
Treatment depend upon the severity of signs and symptoms which include:
- Surgery help to reduce the extension of tumors.
- Radiation therapy help to killed the cancerous cells.
- Chemotherapy to killed the cancers with the help of the chemotherapy drugs.
- Other Drugs to reduce the signs and symptoms
